Memories of the Yet to Be
[Charcoal on Gray Canson]

This sanguine nude nestles within the large geometrical presences, the atavistic
cave drawings to the right characterize a dim referral to something ancient/ancestral
we’ve long forgotten. The square below the figure contains the Kabbalistic Mother
letter, the origin of the Hebrew alphabet, while the ever present digital code moves
across the surface. The use of Pi above the form trails to its infinite, insoluble end,
much as the work and its ineffable character affects the viewer. The figures moving off to
the right are examples of the primal tribal consciousness that we all harbor, consciously or not.
